Lessons
Voice
In voice lessons we will discover or refine the voice through vocal exercises and repertoire designed to work on
breathing technique, tone production,
diction, vowel formation and musicality.
The bulk of the repetoire will be in the musical theatre genre but may also include classical, pop and jazz.
NYSSMA, audition and performance preparation are are a focus for many students.
Piano
Piano lesson are a perfect way to introduce the young musician to an instrument. In piano lessons we will work with the Bastien Piano series and exciting supplemental repertoire. NYSSMA, audition and performance preparation are a focus for many students. Please note that beginning -intermediate piano levels are taught in the studio.
